Medical Clinics Limited via its wholly owned subsidiary Sussex Community Dermatology Service is the largest independent provider of NHS dermatology services in the UK with over 180,000 episodes of care per annum.
Since its 1st contract award in 2010 Sussex Community Dermatology Service has developed an unrivalled reputation as a Leading Consultant-Led Independent Provider of NHS Dermatology Services working with Integrated Care Boards and NHS Trusts to deliver both insourced and outsourced solutions.

SCDS NHS Contracts Timeline
- 2010 West Sussex PCT AWP Community dermatology Contract covering mid and North Sussex area (commencement of SCDS services)
- 2012 Coastal West Sussex CCG Community dermatology contract covering South Sussex area & Guildford and Waverley CCG community dermatology contract commissioned.
- 2014 Surrey Heath CCG community dermatology pilot contract awarded for Camberley area & Brighton Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust acute dermatology subcontract commenced (2015).
- 2016 West Kent CCG acute dermatology contract commissioned & Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust acute MOHS micrographic surgery contract commenced.
- 2018 East Sussex healthcare NHS Trust acute dermatology subcontract commenced & Ashford & St Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust acute dermatology subcontract commenced.
- 2020 Surrey and Sussex NHS Foundation Trust acute dermatology subcontract commenced & North Kent CCG acute dermatology contract commissioned.
- 2022 University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation trust acute dermatology subcontract commenced (2021)
- 2023+ All contracts running successfully commisioned by integrated care boards (ICB) and local acute services
